In 2000, Long Creek Bristol was stricken with
Pythiosis. She was the first dog cured of this deadly killer by using
experimental drugs. "The Battle for Bristol" story was in the January, 2001
issue of True Grit. Bristol is a miracle to us and the love our lives. She
recently celebrated her 6th birthday. Many thanks to Dr. Leon Robbins, Dr.
James Basset, and Dr. Leonel Mendoza for helping to save Bristol's life.
